Friday The 13th

B. D. Colen | Ontario, Canada

One Friday the 13th, in 1980, a small group of friends rode their motorcycles into Port Dover, a charming little Ontario town on the north shore of Lake Erie. Since that first ride, bikers from all over Canada and the US have been converging on Port Dover every Friday the 13th, only a few hundred when the date falls during the Canadian winter, and ocassionally more than 150,000 when it falls on a summer day with good weather. Here's a look at some of the thousands of bike riders, and sightseers, who decended on Port Dover on Friday, October 13, 2017.
