The United States’ Presidential Election received a large amount of attention from all the campaigns and the debates. The whole thing will be remained as a historical event. I was very glad to see the whole process of how the news treated and reported on the Election Day. Every news station in America was reporting and updating the results of election. I was able to take photographs of the President of United States Barack Obama, Formal President Bill Clinton, President candidate Mitt Romney and Vice President Paul Ryan. Also, I was able to pay attention to Senate election, which between Elizabeth Warren and Scott Brown.
I grew up in South Korea, the political system was very different than here in US. It was my first time really experiencing American politics and learn how much American citizen care and pay attention to Presidential Election. Not only the American but also this election was important issues to every country. On the election night, I was at Elizabeth Warren’s campaign party. I chatted with many people there just to get ideas of who supports what. I met a group of people who were from California, they have never met Elizabeth Warren in person before but they loved her ideas on politics so they flew over to Massachusetts to support her and join the election night party. When we found out that she won the United States senator in Massachusetts, people started cheering, crying and celebrating. There were so many scenes to be captured. I was overwhelmed that I was there at the history taking photographs.
