A young boy in the dark of his home in the middle of the day in Battambang (Cambodia, 2008).
Photography is a means to an end. From my eyes, through the viewfiender, to their eyes. These are just some of the faces I have encourented. Beyond the personal stories of conflict, poverty or suffering, the human condition is the same in all of us.

As a development professional, I am interested in programs focused on socioeconomically empowering vulnerable populations, either in emergency or post-conflict settings. With a background in economics and International Relations & Development, I believe in data analysis to uncover social realities. As a mulimedia professional, I have applied my writing, video, and photographic skills towards presenting those realities to others. I believe in the power of media to compel audiences to action and to complement analysis and program design. A fter all, stories must be visual to thrill but analytical to convince for the heart compels but the mind decides.
