Since 2007, Preemptive Love Coalition's (PLC) mission has been to provide "lifesaving heart surgeries for Iraqi children in pursuit of peace between communities at odds." The organization partners American doctors with Iraqi doctors to aid in teaching local doctors how to perform vital heart surgeries. To date PLC has helped nearly 500 Iraqi children receive lifesaving cardiac care. In July 2012, PLC partnered with non-profits For Hearts and Souls and Living Light International to bring in a team of American doctors to Fallujah, where a first-of-its-kind cardiac catheterization mission was carried out at the Fallujah General Hospital. In a week's time, seven correctional catheterizations were preformed; lives were saved and local doctors trained.
