In the 15th of August 2007 a 7,9 RS earthquake hit the coast of Peru. It lasted 3,5 minutes and left 513 deaths behind it. The most affected city was Pisco, in the region of Ica, 200 km down the coast from Lima. After the tragedy a group of members from MSF established there a mission to help the population psychologically and though logistic implementation.
