"Jambo" (most common greeting in Swahili) - These photographs reflect the authentic daily lives of the different people of Tanzania. The photos can be divided into mainly 3 categories: the urban life of the capital city Dar es Salaam; the Masaai tribe; and the people of Zanzibar.

Nadia Tyson is a documentary, fine art and headshot photographer with over fifteen years of experience. She began working in the field of photography while attending the University of California Santa Barbara where she worked as a photo editor for her school paper.Since then, Nadia has spent a total of two years globetrotting and freelancing. She has traveled to over fifty countries that range from Syria, Ghana, India to Cuba. Nadia has a strong interest in capturing humanity without commercializing her subjects. Her photographs depict a variety of people with different cultures, customs and backgrounds across the globe, combined with intense colors and fine art editing.
Nadia has a Masters in Education and currently teaches photography to middle school students in Palos Verdes.
