A red shirt (anti-government protesters) flying the Thailand national flag, walked to the front-line of clashes between soldiers and protestors.
Thailand red shirts, supporters of former Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra, started anti-government protests in mid-March, and gradually clashed with Thai soldiers. The Thai authorities finally launched a crackdown on a protest camp in the center of the Bangkok and 14 people were killed and over 90 others injured in this crackdown on 19 May. Nearly 90 people have lost their lives since mid-March, while more than 1,700 others are reported to have been injured.
