Call for Art: Women Photographers from Balkans, E. Europe, Caucasus, Central Asia

Invest for the Future ( seeks photographs by women in the Balkans, Central Asia, Eastern Europe and the Caucasus illustrating non-denominational contemporary life for an open-themed, juried exhibition.

Finalists will appear on our Pinterest boards for each country, and winners will be profiled in our network and featured in our virtual gallery. The show will be promoted throughout the IFTF social media network. This show is a great opportunity to build your art resume at no cost to yourself, and we encourage local participants from each country (though if you are a female photographer and you aren’t from one of our official countries but you've photographed it, you are still eligible).

The following countries are included: Ukraine, Turkey, Slovenia, Serbia, Poland, Moldova, Macedonia, Greece, Georgia, Bosnia and Herzgovina, Cyprus, Belarus, Azeribaijan, Albania, Armenia.

JUROR: Leah Kohlenberg, painter ( and owner of The Roaming Studio (, which offers live online art classes via skype to people all over the world. Kohlenberg’s work has been shown at the Hadas Gallery in Brooklyn, New York; at the Muveleti Kereleti Gallery in Budapest, Hungary; at the U.S. Embassy in Yerevan, Armenia; and in the American Juried Art Salon online exhibition, among others.
