Biography

Friends will readily share stories of watching Michaela with her slight frame lug around an oversized camera to a spectrum of events raging from the mundane to the celebratory. Her desire to take the art of photography a bit more seriously than most is especially welcome in the hey day of the pocket-sized point and shoot camera, whose essential function has been whittled down to drunken self-portraits taken in bar bathrooms.

Michaela studied as an undergrad at Boston College majoring in all areas opposed to vision. Thus her instincts lead her to the N.E. Art Institute and N.E. School of Photography in pursuit of videography and photography. She enjoys the dream-like quality if waking up in a strange place. Through her lens she sees this daily, and the affects are simply astonishing.
