This exhibit captures the diversity of people who attend protests in Minneapolis, Minnesota. This protest was held in front of the Hennepin County Courthose, Minneapolis Minnesota on the afternoon of May 22, 2021. The protest was the Inaugural Rememberance for George Floyd one year after his murder by former police officer Derek Chauvin.
It is my hope that this exhibit shows an array of diverse people who attend protests in Minneapolis, Minnesota. This protest was held on, May 22, 2021, the first Inaugural Memorial for George Floyd. The people once again gathered outside the Hennepin County Courthouse to express their sentiments about the events of the past year and for Justice for George Floyd.
