All beaches out of bounds, businesses closed down, restrictions on movement, deserted streets, and no sign of how or when the tourists will return. Tourism is the number one industry on the island with up to six million visitors per year coming here on holiday. Without these visitors there will be a huge economic fallout affecting all aspects of life on the island. Costa Adeje area is the biggest resort on the island.
