Faces, Places & Spaces

Sabrina Aggarwal | New Jersey, United States

On the prowl, leopard in Kruger Park, South Africa

"Faces, Places and Spaces" takes the viewer from Peru to Guatemala, Cuba, India, Kenya, Uganda, South Africa and Japan. The theme focuses on the fact that faces, places and spaces transcend borders - a smile, anticipation, hunger, laughter, and much more. What we often think divides us is merely perception. When you look at many of the faces in this exhibit, you'll find commonalities in the glimmer of an eye, a mustache and pride.

Sabrina Aggarwal was born outside of Philadelphia, but has spent a lot of time in India, Guatamala, Europe, Africa, and now calls Jersey City "home". While her "day job" is in healthcare PR, her personal passion lies in photography, with a focus on humanitarian and travel, hence the name of this exhibit, "Faces, Places, Spaces". Her photography work has been featured in Travel & Leisure, the Jaipur Literary Festival and Mercy Corps and her photography influences include Steve McCurry and Sebastio Selgado. She's always had a desire to help people, explore new countries and learn about different cultures, and hopefully this is evident in her work.
