A passenger of the vehicle, left, is detained by United States Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents for being in The United States illegally during a commercial motor vehicle enforcement operation in Laramie County on Monday, Dec. 22, 2025. The driver was pulled over for not stopping at a stop sign. Upon further questioning, the passenger admitted to living and working in the country illegally and was detained.

These images were made during a ride-along during a joint operation between The Laramie County Sheriff's Office, ICE and The Wyoming Highway Patrol. The operation was targeted towards commercial motor vehicle (CMV) enforcement. The operation resulted in:
-49 stops (16 commercial vehicles)
-3 ICE arrests, one non-immigration arrest
-13 citations
Roughly 28 deputies with the Sheriff's office completed 287(g) training which allows them to act as federal immigration and customs enforcement agents.
