Saturday, February 26, 2022 – Ukraine is defending itself today against Thursday's unjustified invasion by Putin's Russia. In Kansas City as in other cities around the world people join in demonstrations and rallies to protest this evil and to honor and support the brave people of Ukraine.
This war of choice by Putin's Russia – with all its evil, death, destruction, dislocation, world order realignment, authoritarianism, so many costs of war – is one of the most consequential moments in our world history which will impact us, our children and grandchildren for generations.
We need to get our personal and world response right and make it work. Please pray all – act every way we can.
This series is from the February 26, 2022 and October 15, 2022, rallies / demonstrations / protests in support of Ukraine in Kansas City, Missouri.
In addition, in an effort to do at least something more to try to help support the efforts to Stand With Ukraine, my wife and I mowed STAND WITH UKRAINE into our yard.
We are sharing this STAND WITH UKRAINE series on social media in hopes it will encourage continued care and concern and support both here in the United States and also in Ukraine and elsewhere to help oppose this brutal and evil Russian invasion.
While my other series of photographs on Social Documentary are in sepia, this is presented in color due to the absolute immediacy of this war thrust upon Ukraine and the world order that must be stopped.
