Yanina Shevchenko is a Russian-born photographer who is currently based in Barcelona, Spain. She is a graduate of Goldsmiths, University of London, and has studied at Moscow Academy of Photography and the International Center of Photography in New York. She has previously worked in New York, Moscow, Buenos Aires and London. Her interests in photography are urban development, rural landscape and community.

Yanina is a coordinator and founding member of Association of Urban Photographers, international group of photographers and artists with shared interest in urban spaces and places. She works in a curatorial role with diverse photographers and exhibitions.
