Cuba is possibly the most beautiful country in the Americas. It is also one of the most disturbed. Rampant poverty and oppression cannot suppress a population as ebulliant as the Cubans.
In Cuba, tremendous energy radiates from every street corner. Even in the early morning hours people are out on the streets. I used panoramic cameras in an attempt to absorb this vibrant culture. I didn't succeed, but I have a series of notations for a future effort, after Castro and before American corporations change one of the most beautiful places on earth.
