In the Russian province, in the Yaroslavl region, there is such an ancient city - Tutaev. Previously, it was called Romanov-Borisoglebsk, but in December 1918 it was renamed Tutaev in memory of the Red Army soldier comrade Tutaev who died in the line of duty during the White Guard rebellion at the hands of the White Guard gangs. But in memory of the old name, the left-bank part of Tutaev is called the Romanovskaya side, and the right-bank - Borisoglebskaya. Between both parts of the city flows the great Russian river Volga. Moreover, there is no bridge across the river in the city. To cross from one bank to the other, you need to use a ferry or a private motorboat.
