Exhibit Title: No Kings. March 28, 2026
Location: United States
The 30 photographers represented in this gallery were selected from submissions to a Call for Entries for photographs from No Kings rallies across the U.S. on March 28, 2026.
According to organizers, there were more than 3,200 rallies involving more than 8 million people in all 50 states calling it the largest single-day demonstration in U.S. history.
While the issues spanned everything from abolish ICE to stopping fascism, to no war in the Middle East, the attack on the free press, and many others, the one common thread was that in the United States we do not vest sole authority in one person, and American leadership must be accountable to the people, to the Constitution, and to the rule of law—everything that Trump has done in his second administration to destroy.
In selecting these 30 photographs, we tried to represent the broadest geographic diversity possible among the entries. While the subjects in most of the photographs were the remarkably creative signs designed by the protesters, the photographs had to stand up on their own in terms of composition, gesture, and meaning.
