Political Protests and Demonstrations in York County, Maine.
In April of 2025 I witnessed firsthand and documented photographically the first of many political protests against President Trump and the implementation of his policies. This took place in Wells, Maine, a seacoast town where the local Police department is cooperating with the federal government (Homeland Security). After Wells, I attended protests in my hometown of York, Maine, where the political leaders have apparently been more neutral than those in Wells. The photographs in this series are from both towns. They depict people and posters, some of which I found to be quite original and creative in their wording and illustrations.
