I’ve been thinking about this project for some time. I wanted to discover people that live with their ghosts, and a psychiatric hospital appeared to me as the best place to attempt approaching them. What is it like to be part of their universe? Was it in line with all I read about it? Was my imagination in accordance with the reality? What differentiates wisdom from madness? The  madness can come in so many different flavors—it cannot be limited to this picture of the straitjacket and the padded room where the “crazy people” live with the violence inflicted to their body and the danger they represent to others.
