Another Life

Irina Leonenko | Ukraine

Another Life is my personal war diary

Since the beginning of a full-scale war in Ukraine in February 2022, I have made more than ten trips for humanitarian and private reasons.

I document not only the experiences of my family but also my own feelings of coping with what I witness. This is my journey into the unknown. Every time I take this journey, I do not know whether it will be my last one. I also do not know whether we will still have a place to call home. Everything is so unpredictable and fragile. The only thing I can do is to capture what I see and preserve these moments for my own family and children.
