Pre-X´mas time at Czech republic

Petr Doubrava | Prague, Czech Republic

Untitled

Carp is a typical Czech fish, and its breeding tradition from the middle ages. It is possible to buy a carp throughout the year in fish shops, cages and in supermarkets. Carp is even a traditional Christmas dish, and in the

pre-Christmas time is experiencing a real boom in the sale of these fishes. Another typical feature is that the fishes are sold directly on the streets or in front of supermarkets. You can buy carps just living, but a substantial part of the population is leaving it in place to kill, eviscerate, download from the skin and slice and dice.

It is a typical atmosphere of the Czech cities and towns in the pre-Christmas time.
