A native New Yorker hailing from Long Island, Thomas Hengge is an East Village-based journalist, photographer, and videographer. 

Thomas works as a journalist, specializing in documentary photography and video journalism, covering breaking news and producing long-form photography projects like his work documenting New York City during the COVID-19 pandemic. 

Thomas is an Army Infantry Veteran and graduate of Fordham University, where he received two degrees, one in Film & Television and another in Organizational Leadership. Currently, he is pursuing an MA in Journalism at NYU, where he was awarded the Fellowship for Distinguished Master’s Students.
